Sometimes we have great individual sounds and we put them together in a mix but they don't gel as good as they should. You might need to find the sweet spot of the sound and make it more predominant. Or maybe you need to find the sound that is causing problems and cut it's sour spot in the frequency spectrum. Learn about this in the following video.

These are the exact type of tutorials I am desperate for. I can compose things with relative ease but it's things like this that can give your music the much fuller sound that they really deserve.

Here's an example of how changing JUST the parabolic equalizor made such a difference in my first composition I recently did. You'll notice the melody is no longer drowned out by the overwhelming ammount of strings anymore. All thanks to Nfx.

What are you saying there man. What NFX is saying with the "sweet spot" is acheiving the sound that you like. There is no specific ine. If after you made all those adjustments you arrived at the sound you wanted, you got the sweet spot.

I always did this manually because I was so use to having a engineer put panning automation on my tracks. I am relatively new to Fruity Loops because I made most of my tracks on hardware. Thanks a lot for the very thorough advice and God Bless.
