| Ok folks ive held off posting this as i kept having trouble getting it uploaded to youtube and didnt think my site could handle the traffic to post it there so finally i got it. Here you go this is a quick tut on how to beef up your kicks using the Peak Controller and the 3xOsc in Fl Studio. Its a pretty nifty trick if you got a weak sounding kick but has a nice upper end to it, this trick might help you out. |

| You forget to tell everyone to unmute the mute button or they they will not hear the kick. By default the mute button is on. | | | |

| Thanks, i've always wanted to do this but never knew how. so can you use it to beef up your bass so that it makes the car subs rattle. When I usually listen to my bass it sometimes rattles but when i go up in tone it rattles less and less so will this solve it? | | | |

| Yeah i dont see why it wouldnt work, i think it would be best if your going to use it on a bass though to copy your bass pattern to the 3xOsc and then transpose the 3xOsc Pattern down a couple octaves maybe just one octave, because if you use a straight note like in the kick tut i think youll get some tuning issues. Dont know that to be a fact though, i havent tried it, but im might just for fun. | | GPSTudio | http://gpstudio.us | FlStudio 8, Cubase Studio 4.1, Fostex Pm4, Rokit Krk5's, Rokit Krk10 sub, Axiom 49, Keystation 49, Tascam US 122l, Toshiba Satellite Laptop 1.86ghz 1gig ram 100gig hd, 300gig ext hd | |

| When u have ur final mix and ur kick doesn't sound "powerful", its because of frequancy conflicts (90% of the cases). And to solve a frequancy conflict u use a EQ.
A trick in dance music is to link every thing to a high pass bus except the kick and base. That really pumps the mix up! I use that alot.. | | | |
