| Yea, the speed of the video is too fast for noobs. I am seasoned in using Edison... your comment on how easy/har it is, nah man chop out each chord 1 or 2 beats long, and viola, recreate the sample or come up with your own. About as easy as adding a piano channel, putting it into the mixer and tweaking. Same time. Also, your negativity shines bright. "If a sample has a wierd time, don't sample it". LOL The audacity of this nigga. You tryna keep the real nice samples all to yourself...lol. That last loop sucked btw, just zoom all the way in until you see the circles, start the chop, do the same at the end, and just keep highlighting more or less of the sample to get that click to go away. I never liked the auto-chopper in any program, especially FL. Sorry for bashing you, but your giving misinformation to your audience that is very new to beat creation...
Reeferman. Notice how you start highlight a sample by clicking the beggining of your loop? Iight, well, instead of having to grab a small ass indicator or the beginning/end of the highlighted area, you can click the area that isn't highlighted, and it'll let you drag the highlighted area, thus making it smaller or bigger. The start of your chop, you can click anywhere on the left that aint highlighted, and drag the highlight over. The end of the chop, you can click anywhere on the right of the highlight, and drag... | | | |

| | ok, first of all, im a nOOb to this warbeats thing. Fruity Loops as well. So pardon me for asking dumb questions. All i want to know is how i can sample my turntable into edison. I have an Alesis multimix 8 channel usb mixer with a built in audio interface. My turntable is a Numark TT-usb. I cant seem to get the audio into edison by putting the phono jacks into the mixer. Can i connect the turntable directly into the computer via usb? am i just doing something wrong with the settings in FL Studio. I have the ASIO drivers. I am finding this extremly frustrating. If anyone could give me detailed instructions on how to get my turntable audio into Edison i would be very grateful. | | | |
