| Just so u all know when this tournament end well have new oficial record thread... With points. So for every tournament round is 2 points for final +3 and winner will get +5 points... That will be official records... all that one on one will be just friendly battles...
Well need a name of our tournaments so it wouldn be just WB rournament1 or 2...
I have name for one and that one will come soon... Best of the best tournament... In there ull have to post best beats u ever did, nomather if u battled with it before... Main idea of that tourney is that every battle in every round will be HOT... Cant wait, cos thet should be best tournament not just on WB ... best beats in the world!lol Can u imagine that?!

| ok so if nobody else wants to give us any suggestions i`ll give a couple suggestions i had in mind
1) Every round different beat genre ( hip-hop, r & b, down south, midwest, east/west coast)
2)Before tournaments start maybe make like a banner under the google add saying warbeats tournament : Registrations Open and make it as a link so when you click on it ,it will send you to the thread/post.
3) Have 1 set day of the week when all beats must be submitted by like Sat and you post up the beats either on sat or sun (doesntmatter)
4)Send Pm`s to all the participants like 2-3 days before you gotta submit the beat reminding them not to forget the deadline and to submit it on time. so it should be in this format (or w/e just my suggestion)

| these are good suggestions, but I'm not sure about #1... not everybody makes south beats, or R&B type beats etc... I think that if you really want to make categories, it would be better to have like "club banger", "sad beat", "aggressive beat", "dark beat" etc... I think it would be better for more producers, but it's just a suggestion...
and maybe sampled beats and composition beats shouldn't be in the same tournament... I don't know, I mean, it's hard to judge between a beat with a sample and beat composed by the producer... you can't always tell how much effort was put in a beat with a sample, and that's a factor I take in consideration when I vote. | |

| | ^^^ true , i mean i guess for different tournaments there could be like a sample only or composition only tourney but having those different genres show how diverse of a beat maker you are......anyways that different genre could be in a tourney held like once every like 6 months to a yr ....Maybe we could make it like WarBeats Best of the Best Tournament and have it be warbeats trademark or sumthin | |

| man, straight up, we need beat battles, perhaps monthly battles with a submission deadline, and let them be in 2 or more galleries, r&b, and hip hop, and etc if there are quite some submmissions, the songs must be submitted in fruity loops or reason format, because, if its in Mp3, no one is ever going to be sure whether the submitter actually made the beat himself. I mean, with the sharing of fruity files here, it also doesn't guarentee the authentity of the file, but is probably a better way to start off  | | | |

| | some people like to master their audio after making their beats so u wouldn't really hear the true quality they producer wanted u to hear, and also alot of the time, u can figure out if they made the beat or not, cuz each producer's got their own style and u just notice it in their beats when u listen to a few | | | |

And im against that r&b, club and all that separation... But that whot mart said is better.
And to separate sample and compositon battles is imposible here... I hardly find 16 people for a tournament this way, if i separate tham than there well be no chance to have 16 people believe me...
Best of the best tournament will be at the end of each year... so prepeare people cos bob tournament starts soon. That tournament will show us who is best Warbeats producer. And to separate that will be stupid... Many people thinks they are best but they are sample producers and many pople who thinks the same are composition producers, theyll all battle and then will see who is best | |

ahh, limited number of participants do funk it up, ha
it always go down like this, i've been at numberous forums, and they all make attempts to conduct these battles or whatever, and one answer comes: failure
by no means do i mean to discourage you, but we need a very special incentive to get people going, i probably aint gona be submittin nothing because I SUCK, i dont even know how to correctly use vst plugins, that's how bad i am, but still
we'll see

I think than this whole month we had 1 battle! 1!! And if i made separation on samplers and compositors or put every round new style and stuff like that noone will battle anymore. | |
