| Remember that the tempo of the track, must match the temo of the melody in your head.. If you're melody's drum pattern is like kick.....snare......kick.....Snare, and the tempo of the track is kick...snare...kick...snare.. of course they will be different.. Tempo's are highly importan!

| | I don't think anybody ever gets a beat perfectly down like they imagine. They'll always change | | VOTE OR DIE! - Beat Battle Forum

| | lol, one thing im gonna start don is carry a notepad and write down the notes i think the melodies contain, that would be after i learn some theory, but, for now im gonna start sportn those old casette recorders, im gonna try to find a small portable keyboard taht i can str8 up recod into that recorder. If anyone knows anything like it let me know, i saw that one keyboard, hmm foldable one at overstock i gotta check it out. | | | |

| | Having a MIDI keyboard helps A LOT. Not only in getting your melodies down, but just overall creativity increases since you just 'doodle' and practice scales, chords etc. Plus you get a much more human feel when you can record yourself as opposed to point and clicking notes into the sequencer. | | If you find this site useful, please consider making a donation. | |
