Vada's Thought of the day- Wondering again... If anyone has done a comparison of Horus to Jesus? Or has anyone wondered why there is an eye of Horus (The Egyptian SUN god) in front of a SUN on the back of the Dollar Bill, along with the Pyramid with "IN GOD WE TRUST"

Hmmmm? Huh? Hmmmmm?

Guess not!

Probably because of the same conspiracy that's behind everything... masons, illuminati... it's illuminati's symbol if I'm not mistaking.
Also, the god "they" trust, is not Jesus, or Jehovah, or Allah, or Buddha, etc.
That's my opinion.

It's not that difficult and you will use it... if not directly than at least "the type of thinking" that goes into mathematics.

It's not that hard, just mostly tedious, boring repitition in order to foster memorization.  Putting up with boring tedious repitition is also something you can get paid for later in life.  It will help you in music too...  there are certain things in music that require tedious boring repetition as well.

Ausrralians have never embraced halloween... until last night. I along with many other australians have always been reluctant to the innevitable over Americanisation of Australia (sorry Americans but a lot of us would rather Australia builds its own identity) but suddenly last night there were halloween parties all over the place, kids out trick or treating and decorations everywhere. I'm not sure what that means, and frankly I'm a little bit worried.

Naa it's lollies, that's what they are called in Australia. Well that was until kids started getting introduced to the term "candy" through American TV. You see I may seem a little pedantic about this but like the other day my friend called me buddy and I was just about ready to smash her in the face (I do not in any way endorse women bashing) It's just not Australian. Sorry.

O.K., I see...  well I don't know what "American" is since it's basically a sythesis of Native American, European, and African Cultures.  For example; The word "candy" comes from Arabicqandi, derived from Persianqand, meaning "sugar" probably from Sanskritkhanda "piece (of sugar) [from Wiki] so I'm not sure what uniquely "American" aspect there is to the word to be pedantic (lol).  I guess since I'm American I don't get the point of not "stealing" (for lack of a better term) the interesting aspects of other cultures.  I think it's what has made our "culture" so "appealing" (again for lack of a better term, some would say invasive).

@ K-ta_klysm...
The Egyptian Pyramid holds the key to the oldest spiritual writings known to man. Without which there would be no Torah, Bible, nor Quran. George Washington and "masonry" STOLE the craft of cuting and setting stone from The Egyptians; in other words the first Masons were Egyptians. Mererukka wore the Collar and Apron and is Immortalized inside a Pyramid in Egypt, standing with his Left leg forward. When you look at Washington, most of his statues and photos depict him standing with His left leg forward as well as the Masonic Apron and Collar.

The Pyramid on the back of the dollar symolizes were the origin for the Masonic Rites. The EYE with the SUN BEHIND IT represents HORUS The Egyptian SKY GOD. Horus is the Son of Osiris (The Egyptian Deity of Judging the dead and of the resurrection). The Greeks/Romans morphed

Serapis- Euro deity nickname Serapis Christus from 350 BCE - 323 AD
Mithra- Persian god of Light

and eventually replaced these with a universal figure named Jesus to allow the continuing celebrations of all Winter Solstice (Saturnilia) Deities or SUN GODS.

Do a search for Horus Verses Jesus... YOU WILL BE AMAZED!

Well the American side isn't the origin of the word but the fact the reason it is used here is because of American TV shows. Same with the word cookie and a few other things.

My thought of the day:
I'm very enthusiastic and proud of my music for the first time. For the first time I got good feedback from my people on my rapping. For me it's no little thing, because until now I was used with people saying "it sucks, it's wack, it's not flowing right, etc", but now the same people said about my track "It's ok, I like it, It flows pretty well, etc"

So yeah, I'm happy about it.

<!--[if gte mso 9]>Normal0unctuationKerning />falsefalsefalseontGrowAutofit />MicrosoftInternetExplorer4<!--[if gte mso 10]>

Well, I guess we do make more than our fair share of television shows and most of them are crap....  I guess it would be irritating to feel like your culture is not respected.  I can understand your position.  I just think there are a lot more "irritating" things that Americans (and American T.V. shows) have done than spreading the "gospel" of candy (lol).

To me, "reality TV." (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) is one of the true atrocities of American Television.  It has been piped all over the world and people all over the world think that every American is either some uneducated black thug dealing drugs or some backwater miscreant in a wife beater standing next to his wife (with a black eye) screaming at the top of his lungs.

America is quite different than that in "reality".  If the image portrayed on MTV and "Cops" wasn't quite different from  reality it wouldn't be on television, it wouldn't be entertaining because it would be common place.

<!--[if gte mso 9]>Normal0unctuationKerning />falsefalsefalseontGrowAutofit />MicrosoftInternetExplorer4<!--[if gte mso 10]>It's like when you hear these rappers talking about how the misogynous and violent lyrics they spit are "reflections" of their environment I have to laugh.  I've lived in inner-city Wash D.C., L.A., and New York and I've never seen any of that stuff as any more common place as suburban Pennsylvania or Oregon or cities like Berlin Germany or London England or anyplace else I've been in the world.  It's laughable... I've waked down the middle of the street in all those places without fear.  There are countries where you can't do that. From watching American TV you would think it was as dangerous as the most dangerous city in South Africa in South Central Los Angeles.  It's not. Not even close.  American TV is  full of lies, propaganda and hyperbole.

I wish you didn't have to put up with it either to be honest.  I think the world would be a better place.  I can completely understand your position about having your culture perverted by corporate "American Television Fantasy Culture".  Having your kids believe in something that does not truly exist or worse, was invented in a boardroom full of ad men or tv execs is saddening.  If it wasn't something I had to deal with everyday I'd be able to laugh about it...
