I say you shouldn't include people's useless comments and rating from this site or sound click into the reasons you want to quit.

I too like you get discouraged when i get anonomous votes telling me my ish sucks or whatever, but you already got pages of people telling you they like your music.

Your plays on myspace and soundlick should be enough to let you know that people are feeling your music even if it's just your close inner circle.

That should be enough to keep doin your thing. If it's not fun for you anymore then don't push it you'll probably come back to eventually.

Ill say this on a personal note, having known KTA for a couple years, look hes got more posts than me Ive watched you grow bro, ive watched you improve, mix, compo all the good details. So like the link i gave the bottom line is you will never give up cause its in your soul. People who make music are a different breed, especially if they make music to get something out that feels locked inside them. Musicians have that need to "Get It Out" so to speak. You will always have that aching inside you, you can ignore it, but if your true to yourself then, youll be back, and Ill be waiting We all need breaks!

There is another saying that goes "You dont know what you got till its gone" the lack of food, a warm bed, good friends, a home, people who care about you, a love, a lust! All those things inside you that drive you to be WHO YOU ARE, will eventually take you back home!

Actually I found myself trying to make a beat LMAO
The problem is I can't get it right like I imagined it and it's frustrating me more! (It's a sampled beat... with a tricky sample)
Also I told myself if I continue, I will only make old school hip-hop beats, at least for a while.
Why?
I don't know, I'm a weird guy.

ahhh man, if muzic aint makin u happy then its best u quit, but if its more because of bad reviews and ish dont let it phase u. just do it for you and nobody else

one thing that helped me was to STOP LISTENING TO YOUR BEATS for awhile. for example i would make one, then listen to it the next day just to mix it and critique it... and not listen to it again for a couple of days. when i finally listen to it again, im like damn thats actually pretty good. the thing is that you get so bored with hearing your own ish, your own style, because you know every single aspect of what goes into the beat, that you arent really enjoying the music you make, but ONLY TRYING TO FIND ERRORS, and that is what you will continue to find unless you chill out for a moment. im not sayin to stop correcting your errors, but to refresh your mind with other melodies and styles and music, before startin back at your own, and NEVER over do it. take breaks, etc. the good ole feeling will come back.

but i admit i got better and better with time as i practice and try new stuff
and i dont neither care what people think about my beats everytime when i open

me myself ive been into a Block 2 for too long so all i do is listen to alot off music DAMN lot and practice your stuff liek peopel said your fingers will get itchy after 2 weeks to hop back on FLStudio and make sumstuff
