| Yeah, this is the end. I'm done with making beats and rapping. Even though they are barely connected, I end them for the same reason: I can't do it anymore. Let's begin with rapping. To be true, I never had anything good for it, never had flow, good lyrics, good voice or anything else. I considered quitting around 2-3 times before but this is it. I have 3 or 4 songs written, got the beats, but I can't rap for ish, because I caught a cold at the summer holiday (that's around 3 weeks ago) and I'm still sick, plus I don't have the funking lungs to do it. (and no, I don't funking smoke). And plus, it's not going anywhere.
Beat making - the same. I can't make a beat for ish, there's no way I can compose anything, and I couldn't find a good sample for weeks. I'm tired of the same ish - find the 'perfect' drums, that everyone will whine about, struggle composing something/sampling, making breaks, that people won't find enough, mixing the ish so it sounds good, but after you render something is not sounding right, people complaining again about it and so on. And for what? I'm tired of it - it's no fun. It's not going anywhere, I'll never be good at it, and it's going nowhere. I'll never sell beats so I can make some money so I can buy this and that, and I'm tired of the motherfunkers snooping around for free beats. I reached my top with it, now it's a fast and real downfall.
I wanna thank everyone who helped me with this in a way or another, NFX, the old Yourbeats forum, 90% of the Warbeats active community, people who told me "don't quit" the times before, and everyone who ever listened to my ish.
I'll probably stick around, but won't mind to answer stupid noob questions and ish, I'll just keep in touch with the community.
I made around 350 beats in my whole life, around 200 whack tracks, and some pitiful covers. That's it.
I also wanna thank everyone who wasted some time to read this ish entirely.
I uploaded my last 2 finished projects so haters and noobs can delight and tell me to turn the tag up or give me all 1s, and you can find my ish in my signature, or easier, on www.myspace.com/ktaklysmmc.
Peace, K-Ta-Klysm.

| Are you kidding? youre not supposed to make beats to please other people, youre supposed to make music because you love music. Most of us here wont "make it" but we still make music because we (or me atleast) love to do that and its fun. Take a break for a few months and you will probably get your inspiration back, listen to music you havent listened to before, sample David Bowie or something, do anything but dont quit. | | | -=Rate My Beat=- | |

| sounds like your just having a bit of a bad period right now, ill bet you in 2 weeks youll be craving for mango again and if not, i wish you the best of luck with other things
like skraal said, its not (just) about pleasing others, if you like the results and others dont, youll still be on the right path maybe you should just lay low for a while and only make stuff when you really really feel like it, and concentrate on other things while doing that

| Not funny at all, depression sucks man. Your the only one that I will tell that I voted for in the beatdown, I know I was not the only one either. Being at the bottom of the roller coaster is not fun, don't give up if you do you'll never know if something big would have happen for you. | | | World Wide Warbeats got talent. | |

| Listen...i don't know you. I don't know if you really have fun doing music or not...but what i do know is that your beats are pretty damn good for a "unknown" beat-maker.
I consider myself a "bad" beat-maker...i still need to learn very much about the beat-making game...and still, i already got props for some of my work from ppl on soundclick, warbeats or some managers of hip hop groups. And that with my ishty beats...i would be happy do make beats like you or some other great cats here on warbeats so i don't see why you want to quit.
Maybe you're just going the wrong way...i mean by seeking for artists. Did you try to work with some local artists? Did you try to reach some managers of hip hop groups? You can't expect, that you start off with a hit artist and get known by everyone in like 1 week. It needs small steps first to go big...every top producer would say this.
You think Dr. Dre and the other top producers got rich with their first beats? Usually it's about try and fail...and try again and fail again and than maybe succeed. But then again its about how much passion you have and if you still have fun while doing music...if you don't have this you don't have nothing.

| same here man...I feel like that almost everytime I want to make a beat...One thing I never do is to tell myself " ima make a dre type beat today." then you just sit there 24/7 tryna come up wit some dre type heat that sounds good. Just make something and whatever comes out comes out. Make sure it sounds good... | |

| I told you people, THERE ARE NO LOCAL ARTISTS HERE! I live in Romania for God's sake, and in a small city which had around 5-6 MCs, around 4-5 left, went to Paris for a long time, and the ones left eventually gave up. I actually got some interest from some small-time emcees, but they surely don't want to pay for the beats, they try obtaining them for free. (ass kissing n ish)
And it's not about not selling beats, I never-ever wanted to make music for money, I swore to myself I will quit that very moment when it happens. It's about being sick and tired of everything, only opening FL or anything and trying to come up with some sounds/melodies is making me sick.
I know where I'm at with this, I know I'm over average, but I feel like I can't go farther, I can't advance, this is my top, now I can just fall. My last beats were just average, something a beginner would make, but better mixed. | | This is what haters get! Because This is how I know they're full of ish!

| I'm sure you already realize this but maybe the reason why you feel,at the moment, that you can't go any further is because you can't with current level of knowledge. Your capacity to learn is limited only by your willingness to seek knowledge. Maybe you should focus your effort on learning what is required to achieve your goals since your current ideas and practices are not producing the desired results. Or you could just quit it's your life. | | | |

I got a weird feeling you are right... I remember I said to myself I'll never quit... how does it sound? "Oh, I quit making music" It's something fishy with this music... | | This is what haters get! Because This is how I know they're full of ish!
