Learn how the minor scale sounds..The steps is w/h/w/w/h/w/w

The steps for the major scale is w/w/h/w/w/w/h

Thats in half steps and whole steps. once you know how it sounds then know it can be done in any key you start on..For example listen to "A MINOR scale..If you look at w/h/w/w/h/w/w and start on a it would be a b c d e f g a ...If you look at major think of c d e f g a b c and in steps you get w/w/h/w/w/w/h ..Its really simple eh if you think about it..Another minor scale that would be in the same formula would be "C Minor Scale" and the notes is c d d# f g g# a# c and f minor would be f g g# a# c c# d# f and thats useing the same w/h/w/w/h/w/w patten... Thats the main 2 scales out there and theres more but i only use those to.. Mostly the minor scale patten but once you get use to it you can hear it without thinkin of steps and you know how it sounds in that key and if you think im lieing try finding the notes to crime mob knuck if you buck..Ima give you a hint the notes is in the c minor scale and download the audio file i made in this link http://www.sendspace.com/file/cav2xj and you will see what im sayin bout learning your scales and the sound i used was fl keys in FLStudio 8

Nice tutorial. I'm still a beginner though, so the whole transposing part got a little confusing for me.

A decent tutorial, but not as good as yours.

World Wide Warbeats got talent.
