yeah it is mostly supposed to effect the anonymous raters so start showing yourself meaning your name and stop hiding behind anon or don't feed i am sure if you are on this site you know how to constructively feed someones work

My question: Karma can be obtained only by rating tracks?
My proposals: There should be a minimum amount of words when you write a comment because I got this comment for a track: 'Sounds like every hip-hop beat I heard till now' or something like 'It's cool' or short sentences. I don't think that helps alot as feedback. That's what I propose.
It would be nice if you could reply aswell in the same box to the people that write you comments.

Nobody answered why do you want karma. We know we get it for rating tracks but why do you need a lot?

Antonia: Yes and no, Karma and participating in the forums (your post count) will affect on how may downloads you get per day. This is so that those actually are on this site making the community a better place, will get the benefits aswell.

Jordan: You don't need karma per say, but as you progress it will be helpfull. Those with higher karma will see the tracks made by people with similiar karma. So that raters with similar goals and abilities will rate each other. If you want better and more feed on your beats, up your karma.

Sab i still see where i am getting feed for cats with a 3.1 karma and this happened probably 5 or 6 days after the tracks chart life was up (1 month) a blatant downrate. of course i marked it worthless. i was wondering could this be a person i gave ratings?

The karma "view" only effects what shows up on your side bar. There is nothing stopping people from looking up your tracks, either thru your profile or thru chart pages and rating them.
