ya seeee the problem is lyrics change the way a beat sounds, for instance i love in your face beats that hit hard and have catchey lyrics like.....

Nas - Made You Look "they shooting, awww MADE YOU LOOK"

The roots - Here i come "i said wait, HERE I COME HERE I COME HERE I COME"

LL Cool J - Headsprung "and we about to get our H-E-A-D-S-P-R-U-N-G"

i could go on and on so basiaclly a heavy beat with a catchey rhyme i can shout in a club and im set :D

damn, its good to see so many people still show love for the classics.
and its even better to not-see lol john or soulja boy on here.
i guess theres more people still listening to the the form of hip hop that can actually be called an art then i thaught.

@ Soulfulldude : How We Do the greatest of all time? i respect everyones different tastes in music, but for someone being on a producer forum you really soulda noticed how simple that beat is.. i can understand someone who calls a dre beat his personal fav but not that beat
