Did i say, because he now has ghostwriters. no i said because he has ghostwriters
Any motherfunker who has to get some one else to write there tracks is trash, anyone can flow with barely any practice, it's the lyrics that take the most skill. It's like a would you respect a comedian that got someone else to write their whole act?

You like Richard Pryor? Well Bill Cosby and Paul Mooney wrote most of his jokes too. lol. I bet yo ass was still laughing though alllll filled with respect.  People don't listen to rap for just lyrics. Its the entire package. Beats, Bars and Flow. 2 out of 3 ain't bad, so why not get someone for the bars. And I don't want to come off like I'm angry or anything but you got to understand its part of the bussiness and to just accept it as long as your the consumer. I agree that I don't care for rappers who don't write their own material as well as those that portray BS images. But ITS DRE MAN. I'm done man. Respect to ya.

Never heard of Richard Pryror. But reagardless if I found him funny or not, i would loose all respect for him if i found out he didnt write his own stuff.

rap is about the lyrics. If hes a good producer he gets props for that, but production is not a part of rapping, so dre only has 1 out of 2. But i would say he only has 1 out of 100 as lyrics are far more important than flow, because flow is so easy to learn

i dont want to get in an argument and im not angry either lol, but i just dont respect people who dont write their own stuff. But i respect youre opinion, so im done too lol

Flow is not really that easy to get (talking from own experience).
But still, like Mike Shinoda said back in the day on the track Linkin Park - Step up (I reccomend it, pure hip-hop)
"...I heard you're getting help with your rhymes,
You're not an MC, somebody else writes your lines..."

That's it. But still, remember that gangsta rap is not really all about rhymes (even with 'help' Dre's lyrics weren't even something WHOA!)

i think you are all full of ish tbh, i havent read all the comments, but the ones hating on Dre for having ghost writers are just foolish. So what if he has ghost writer, mayb he hasnt got time to write because he is producing bangers that anyone on this site couldnt ever dream to touch ???!!!!!???? (well actually, there is hell alot of talent here so i take that back but it still applies to most). This is suposed to be a music production based site if im not mistaken and some of you are hating on the unquestionable top 5 producer in the world because he has ghost writers. Your talking about a pinoeer from NWA and is the answer to most of the mainstream hip hop you hear today. I think Dre deserves nothing but respect, especially from people on this site. I dont like ranting, but Dre doesnt doesnt deserve your hate.

take it EZ

EssJay is right... don't forget that Ice Cube wrote many of the NWA's songs => not every of them wrote their lines, but it's still classic.

I don't think it can be a success. It's been in production for so long it makes me wonder if when he releases it it's all gonna sound outdated. I got love for Dre and want him to drop something dope but I just dunno.

After reading some of the comments I gotta say, If you were in Dre's position, when he released 2001, you'd want your next album to be something special. He was on top, I respect him for trying to make sure he does his best. That's what producers need to do, release the best thing possible instead of releasing trash like a lot of them do.

And even if Dre hired a ghostwriter to throw down something you gotta respect what he did when he released The Chronic. He's a highly important person in this industry for what he's accomplished. A ghostwriter will help give this a different sound (though Im sure it will be reminiscent of Dre). And it's not like Dre isn't doing any work on this album, he's probably treating this thing like his baby.
