well we gotta start out somewhere. how about someone thats good at drums and percussion make a track upload it and then lets have someone do the melodie and bass or whatever then have some rappers do their thing then all of it to the mixin masterin guy and all should work out.

Ok Lemme try and organize this.. as everyone is too busy to do so..

In the beginning of the thread someone suggested that we choose captains for each genre.. Personally I think that's a good idea. I think we should make like a first official warbeats mixtape. Which will have productions by us, and vocals by us.

For the producers we won't have to search far.
But for the vocalists I think we should also look 'outside' of Warbeats, because I for one want some serious vocalists for the beats. My proposition is that everyone dives into their own network to search for rappers and also "Singers".. Cuzz we wanna have a diversity as regarding to the typa tracks.

If it will work out NFX should try and make a track too, but he hasn't for a very long time and maybe he won't find the time, but I'll try and get 'em to make a track.

Ok these are just some random thoughts about organizing it.

First we gotta decide how many tracks we want on the mixtape.

I think we should go for something like 12 to max. 15 tracks...

Then we gotta decide which genres we gon' put on there..

Lets choose out of the following. (you may add if I missed something here.

- RnB (offcourse )
- Hiphop (old skool)
- Hiphop (New School)
- Sampling
- RnB/Hiphop (Club)
- Crunk/Dirrty South

Everyone reply to which genre you want to produce and I'll note that down and make a new thread about it in due time, so I can have a clear overview of things..

Well ill get in on this but personally think the mixtape should be at most 3 genres, to many would just make a messy mixtape, but i would get in on Rnb/hip-hop and Crunk/Dirty south. and just regular Rnb but what about Pop is that pretty much your Rnb/hip-hop?

1.Rnb/Hip-hop
2.Pop if not then Crunk/Dirty south
3.Rnb

^ Funny thing is, Hiphop has many subgenres.. and that's what I did.. cuzz if you say "HipHop" that's so.. global.. naww mean..?

Add Trance genre's too.I know there is not much Trance Dj's or Producers in here.But I know Mr Fisha claims to be the ambassador of Trance in WB.Ill be gladly to join in that group.

I'm hip hop all the way, I can go wit the feelin of the music pretty well. I'm pretty versatile when it comes to the flow.

Personally I think this is a great Idea.

My only question is will there be auditions for positions? Maybe like a Battle for position.

Also, some tracks may work better with a certain producer/crew but another track may not work well with that producer/crew... will you rotate producers/crews depending on the track?

As far as my preference as an artist I can work any genre'. I play keys, I produce, I sample... I can do it all. So if I were selected to be apart of a project it really doesn't matter where I am needed... I'll come through in every area! Fo Sho"!

yea i think 15 tracks should be the maximum. I actually suggested a monthly WB mixtape in that lotto thing nfx had. Where we have say 3/4/5 mods who are experienced listen through submitted tracks and like narrow down the tracks until you get a nice variety, high quality mixtape that folks will wanna d/l every month to hear out ish

If this thing goes down though it would be an amazing chance for everyone to hook up with eachothers artist that we all have...get soem interesting sound on the go

U don't understaind. Idea was to start a group. Producing group or group in general whatever. We have forum section named Warbeats music group. There can be only the guys who are accepted by someone (NFX i guess). And thats cool cos i have alot more ideas. And we should start this there cos here in public section... well its not a group now is it?
Only thing is we can't post anything there! Sup with that (mods,NFX)?

I was thinking and i really want to take a job as music group leader. But only with T.I. not alone (that way if something goes wrong we will all blame him lol)
But for real im ready to lead but not alone cos i would not be confortable to lead bunch of fantastic producers bymyself.
