Today was a pretty hectic day.

Me and my friends was riding home from school, and across the street were these two black guys who were talking to each other and kept looking back at us. (By the way, I'm not black, I'm brown) I was on a bike, and my other 3 friends were on skateboards. One of my friends was riding ahead of us, I was in the middle riding my bike, and my other two friends were skateboaring behind me. Next thing I know, the black dudes are crossing the street, and I just thought that thats all they was doing, just crossing the street, but next thing I know, one of them grabs my bike, and I fall over. I say, "What the funk you doin'?, and he said "Lemme get yo bike nigga". He socked me in da face so I stayed down, and then I got up and we was brawling for a lil' bit; the other black guy was tryna hold my friends back from helping me, one of my friends fought him off, while the other two were trying to get my bike. Next thing you know, cars are honking at us, we fighting, and then they run off into the alley. I pick my ish up, and we walked the whole way home. (Another thing, I just moved to California from Texas) As we was walking home they came back, and this time I dropped my bike and got ready to funking fight again, but then the dude said to my otha friend that fought "Where I get you at?" and looked at the swollen eye he left on my face. This time, another dude came along with them. They wanted to call truce, and when me and my friend wasn't gonna shake our hands back at 'em, this what the otha dude said:

"Nigga you better shake his hand when he calling truce. This is our turf nigga, we shoot niggas in broad daylight, and we don't care who the funk wanna funk with us, we'll lay yo ass down"

My otha two friends shook with 'em, and then I thought to myself (I'm not from here, so what should I do?) I shook all of their hands and with each hand I touched I felt dignity just being wiped off from me. They rode off, and I just kept thinking about what they said about shooting people. I know it's true because last week this dude got shot for holding a sign that was red, and he wasn't bangin' neitha, so pretty much he got shot for no reason.

Last week, I saw this news report my Anderson Cooper on the "Stop Snitchin'" thing a lot of rappers support. Russel Simmons and a lot of other rappers do disagree with it, though. I didn't call the cops after those guys who tried to jack my bike left, only because I thought that the cops couldn't do ish. But now that I'm sitting at home, letting ya'll know bout this ish, what if they do it again to someone who can't fight? What if they jack anotha innocent kid and get away with it? I let that ish happen, when I could've stopped it. 

Does the reputation of being a snitch mean anything when you're helping out your community and saving people's lives?

This just all has been going through my head for so long, and I'm sort of used to fights and ish happening (not cause I try to get into them all the time, I just end up in them). But should we all "Stop Snitchin'" just so stupid ignorant "gangsters" can just shoot up innocent people?

I'm not racist or anything, and this isn't directed towards all black people, but I do need to get this off my mind. I think that a lot of hip-hop influenced black people need to quit thinking that they run all the ish everywhere. It's like the unwritten rules are that if you see a black guy, you HAVE to show him respect, and you MUST be intimidated by him, or you're gonna be risking your life. Is that the kind of rep that ya'll wanna have? Just cuz I was raised by good ass parents (or at least my dad), I know to respect everybody until they lose it. But should I respect people who ruin out society? Once again, this isn't directed to all black people, just the ones that think that they are gangsters. And even if they are, why? Why do they need to steal, kill, and all that ish for no reason? Do they not get enough lovin' or something? And like I said up there, I'm not racist, but most black people are. Always blaming others for not getting what they want, just cause their black? They're always judgemental, always picking on the "white" people, and don't give a funk about anybody. That's cool, huh? 

Sooner or later, I'm gonna die, or I'm gonna lose friends because I wanna stop them, and that's really wrong.

I wrote all this just to open a lot of people's eyes. A definition of a terrorist is "a person who terrorizes or frightens others." So pretty much the two guys that tried to jack me were terrorists. Maybe Americans need to see the real terrorists that are gonna bring this country down. Terrorists aren't all muslim, and aren't all from the middle east. OPEN YOUR EYES

I aint sayin you should deal with them your self coz you could end up shot, but you know what i mean cops wont do ish. ish like that, that goes on in the streets has to be dealt with by the streets.
