Just a quick question, I noticed at the bottom of the forum page that it states we have over 91000 members on this website ,how come we don't have more action on the forums ?
Is it people lurking in the background just watching the tutorials and checking the downloads or is there another reason ?
Please could someone answer my questioning mind.

mostly people jus swoopin thru to dl,thats why not many people upload ish

I always thought regarding the amount of members that there's strength in numbers and with it a proper community vibe but it seams from the outside there's just a core group of people who post.This might not be the case just my point of view

I didn't ever post for about a 6 months until there was a contest that required you made so many posts in order to vote. I think some people never think about it. Besides here and The Flipside some of the forums can get kind of rough so I thinks some people just shy away.

I used to do the chat and it was a completely different "core group in there so, I'm not sure what it is. But yeah, I'm sure the analysis so far is about right.

Yea its alot of duplicate accounts, alot of one off accounts (e.g. someone sees an nfx vid on youtube, signs up here, then forgets about it completely), alot of people sign up and dont post, the numbers viewing the thread are far higher than posters for a reason. People also sign up just to download the files, and the number of users shows you just how many are here simply for the files. and thats why nfx says about the cost of files and limiting them in some way and having a VIP section.

yeah most people are just folks looking for free stuff.. shame on them ^^

and yeah its pretty much a core group in here who are actually active, most of the new members who do post here just want to get their questions answered and leave.
