| As an artist I'm a Kayne fan. He just brings new ish to the table everytime. I can't help but respect that. As a human - and I don't know him personally, so it doesn't mean much - I think he is arrogant.
Let me paraphrase something a dude here at work told me when I was saying how arrogant Kanye is.. He said:
"Look, the dude came up making beats for arguably one of the greatest MCs of all time (JayZ) and dominated at that making beats for arguably the greatest rap album of all time. Then he asked for a record deal and JayZ was like yeah, yeah whatever here's your little deal, just keep them beats coming. Then he comes out as a rapper and dominates the charts and sound of beats to come. People think he's a nerd or gay or whatever and he keeps shutting them down. he takes on 50 cent a couple years ago - 50 said he'd retire if Kanye sold more records than him, dominated him. Now he comes out with an album that sounded pretty much like nothing before it and dominated the charts again!
