I'm 20 years old. I've been playing music since I was a child of 4 or 5 years old. Started with the piano, and then was playing on a flute too. I went to a music school for a little while and then to schools that had a music program. I've gotten pretty good at playing the piano.

Then my family immigrated to Canada, and the piano was far too heavy to even consider shipping along with us (it was a Yamaha Grande piano, not sure about any other specifics). This was when I was about 8 or 9, and the school here did not have any musical programs, and even though my father bought me a cheap electronic keyboard I soon got bored with it and lost interest. Now after all those years I think I'm getting this urge to play again, and even try to make my own stuff. Thanks to NFX for providing some great tutorials that quickly refreshed my basic comprehension of music! :)
 (Although I'm not sure why the notes are called in letters, rather than DO RE MI FA SOL LA SI)
