he gathers all his own samples, he samples alot of indian and arabic music. you just have to go out and find sounds that you like and chop em up. he makes alot of his own samples too, like in the video they were talkin about makin beats with a cup and a pencil, im pretty sure he does stuff like that and records it to get a certain sound.
