Nice looking out! Since I've got problems with my auto-tune, I might attempt using GSnap instead...

Thanks alot man...very helpful and extremely useful...saved me a nice lil sum if I were to buy Auto tune...question tho, can this be used to produce a chopped & screwed sound? I've been battling with this for sometime. A few responses I got is that I gotta get DJ equipment to do this. Is there another way...preferrably using freeware? You should do a tutorial on this if there's another way. Thanks again.

Check out ScrewLab, it's pretty cheap, I think it's like $50...

Is there a way to produce MIDI Out sounds without an actual midi keyboard?

Anything you put in the piano roll on the midi out channel will send midi data on that channel, it wont make any sound though until you set up some device, vst, etc.. to interpret the midi commands coming from the midi out channel set to the same port number. Midi out controllers dont play sound they just send midi data.
