maybe with a sample collection of hi hats, snares, kicks, a kind of .rex file, anything rytmical...but without "groove function" or shuffle notes a little, it is so far from hip-hop!
anyway it's only a technique.
i'm sure there is more to do with cubasendo, i hear talk about crazy random step writing...

there are too many songs with arpeggios in them in hip hop....listen to usher's love in this club...and some other new songs coming out...hip hop is flipping other genres of music now...for a while, it was rock and roll...now it's leaning towards the techno/house sounds...all you have to do is slow them down some....
yep yep

Arpeggio's is the shiet. You don't wanna lose out on them! I usualy prefer to set up my arpeggio's in Nexus since it has simply said an outstanding arpeggio system. Since it allows you to play the notes in 5 octaves + allows you to range the arpeggio in 4 octavves this gives you some awesome powerful arpeggio's. Start with a chord on 4 notes, played thru an arpeggio with 7 notes laid up on 5 octaves. This gives so much back to the listeners!

I think, it's just stupid to make arp like that. IMHO it's not composing.
