Good job.

Could you make a list of, or post a link to, the scales & what type of song or feel they should be used for.

sorry i m a complete noob, but is it,one scale per song or just the same scale for every instrument in the song (so scales change during the song but instruments always are uniform?
thanx for the tutorial btw!

Hey adonis to answer your question, scales and keys can change during the song if you want it to, but it doesn't have to. And each instrument should be in the same key and use the same scale at the same time (although if you wanted to be really creative and abstract and whatever, you could even use different scales at the same time, which doesn't really sound good to me at least with the clashing notes and all that).

Also, with chord progressions, scales can kind of change within the overall key maybe from bar to bar, but I'm not very good with that so...

If this doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll try to clarify.

just tell em the rule and its easier, major scale:Whole,W,H,W,W,W,H
minor scale:W,H,W,W,H,W,W(natural minor)
harmonic minor:W,H,W,W,H,W(+1),W
melodic minor:W,H,W,W,H,W(+h),W(+h)
