| Let's say pattern 1 has the Drums
Let's say pattern 2 has the Guitar Riff
Let's say pattern 3 has the Piano
In the playlist, I click Pattern 1(drums), but it has channels for the guitar and the piano, there are no notes set for the guitar or piano, but it's still there
When NFX switches between patterns, all the sounds/channels in the step sequencer change...
When I switch between patterns, every pattern has the same exact channels, so if I delete a Snare in pattern 1, it deletes that snare in pattern 2
If you guys understand what I mean, can somebody help, things get so busy i have the same problem | | | |

| I have the same problem with FLStudio. When i have a simple beat in pattern one, and select pattern two, and make another simple beat. The materials in pattern one and two seem to merge together and i cant get them to seperate from each other. Ive tried putting on the option nfx told us about but it doesn't work or i dont know how to work it?! please clarify this | | | |

| IVE GOT IT!!! IF YOU WANT SEPERATE PATTERNS YOU HAVE TO CLICK THE BUTTON LABELED FOCUS:PATTERN CLIPS that looks like the stepped graph _ _ _ _ _ This will sepearte each pattern so you can have different whatever on each pattern and not have them correlate with each other. What the rest is for i dont know but i hopet his helps!~ | | | |

| I know you can ghost other instruments WITHIN patterns, but how do you go about doing it between patterns? I'm all for putting different instruments and sequences on their own patterns to make the whole process smoother, but how do I do it in such a way that I don't have to have such a perfect memory of what I'm doing on the other pattern while I'm working this one? I try and I'm relegated to doing the sequence, then going back and tweaking one pattern, then another, without the benefit of having the whole thing in front of me as is the case with the ghosted patterns. Can you help me out? I think others may have the same concern. | | | |
