| Yes it sucks that the MOD wheel is not active by default on FL generators and plug-ins, but it's not that hard to get it working. Watch the vid and see. | | | If you find this site useful, please consider making a donation. | |

| Thanks very much for this I wasted hours looking for the solution for this having been used to it just working in other sequencers.
One question, do you know if there is any way to be able to preview the synth with modwheel with this method? What I mean by this is I like to go through presets and try them out with the modwheel. If I select my synth so I can see the synth window the input goes to that window and not the MIDI out channel so the modwheel doesn't work. I have to switch to the synth window, change preset, then get the MIDI out channel back up before the modwheel works with it. Any way around this as it is a bit of a pain when you are auditioning lots of presets?

| here are a few:
1 Modulation 6 Data Entry MSB 7 Volume 10 Pan 11 Expression 38 Data Entry LSB 64 Sustain 100 RPN LSB 101 RPN MSB 121 Reset all controllers 123 All notes off
I found that on wiki, so there might be some wrong info lol... but look on google for "midi control change + modulation" or things like that and you might find more info | | | www.soundclick.com/mart85

| Great Video NFX...I watched it twice....
The Mod Slider went back down because you chose to start at the initial position...remember?..
You just seemed a little confused about the slider being back at the bottom when after you recorded it you left the slider at the Top...
I Really enjoyed the Vid....I think I wanna become a VIP member....

| Here's another way to get the Mod wheel working. First load any third-party VST instrument, for example SFZ. Then go to the sample Browser/Current Project/Generators/Fruity Wrapper (SFZ), then you'll see a list of MIDI CC's in the sample browser. Look for MIDI CC # 1 (modulation wheel). Right click on it and select "link to controller". If you want it to work with every VST and not just this one, make sure the option "omni" is selected, and move your mod wheel.
Now you have your mod wheel working for every VST, without having to do a Midi out channel.
