I have always known the little thingies at the corner of the notes were slides but I had not quite figured out how they related to the actual note. Now, thanks to you, I am all the wiser.

Great tutorial GP! Might actually convince me to come back to warbeats more often with this. You still got a soundclick page? Beat sounded pretty good with the little you had. Hope you did some more with it.

No offense but it was a little strange to hear a hip hop beat making tutorial with your accent though! lol You sound like a white Cleveland from Family Guy!

Hey GP, quick question...

Do you typically record bass parts in mono? Just wondering if that might help with the muddy low end problem I was talking about in the 808 posts... maybee it's my bass.

yes well i dont record that way but still yes i do turn the stereo separation knob toward mono on my kicks and bass, not always all the way mono though and I do sidechain alot also i cut frequencies quite often in the 300-500hz range
