After many requests for this type of automation, I made this quick shot to show you how to turn on/off  an effect at will

Just wanted to say that this site is truly for the developing producer (any producer for that matter). NFX, thanks for all the great stuff you share with everyone and the work you put into this site.

Great tutorial (as per the norm).

I saw a Spyro tutorial vid on this site about electro basslines where he linked reverb to peak controller so he only got reverb during the parts where the bassline wasn't sounding. Would it be possible to do a similar thing with delay whereby the peak controller only allows echos to sound when the given channel is silent? (just a thought - that would say having to create automation clips b/c peak controller would do it automatically).

Sometimes I think that you was the creator of Fruity loops. Even the FLStudio Site tutorials doesn't explain the way you do. You are the best. Thank you from San Juan, Puerto Rico!!!!

Good video, simple and well-explained. I would like to note for those who just watched this video that you can do the same thing to most knobs in FLStudio, for instance if you wanted to control the Dry/Wet mix of the effect, right click on the knob NEXT to the green light instead.

I have every thing working except when doing a "right click" to add the points. Right click doesn't work. I can "left click" and it adds points endlessly. I have FLStudio 8.0. What is my problem? I've watched the video 3 or 4 times and it doesn't work, for me, as shown. Thanks a lot.

My problem with the "right click' was Windows 7 beta. While using Vista I don't have the problem above. BUT I do have another one. I have everything setup as the video does but I get no delay when the cursor goes over the word. It works for the whole clip when the delay plugin is turned on but when I click the small light off the automation does not work? What the heck am I doing wrong? Thanks.

ADDEN........DUMB - Forget it. I wasn't in "Song" mode. It is working as described in the video.

NFX....is there anyway to automate time stretching? there are many songs out, where either the begining intro or an ending outro will stretch the song out/speed it up....it is a great effect if properly executed....I just don't even know where to begin. Cheers.
