Why not boost your own drum library by making your own kits? One way to do that is by grabbing drum samples from vinyl, mp3, wav file etc. Watch how easy it is to do in FLStudio

Gotta love the new intro

Only thing you forgot to mention is. Make sure your samples end at the zero line, to avoid that click sound at the end of them. If it's a stereo sample and the channels dont really match where you want to cut it, a tiny fade out at the end of the sound will do the trick.

If the wave form of your finnished sample looks like this, there will be a click sound at the end.

We don't want that, so try to cut them like this instead.

Thanks. I've been doin' this with my Fantom for a while now. I learned a couple new tricks(Markers and zoom) Edison is an amazing piece of FLStudio. I was gonna ask you to do a similar Vid, only more in depth on what you mentioned in the end, about all the cool effects you can use. There is so many things you can do in Edison, and I hop you do more. I've made a beat with nothing but my mouth(Kicks, Snares, HH, and Instruments). So Thanks You NFx

great intro

and thanks for the info about amplifying it, ive been after that for a while, wanting to do exactly what you do and be able to turn down one channel to get a drum from a single channel.

Push '3' I think, it unsnaps to the grid, it's in the preferences somewhere...

Both Edison & Slicex in FL8 are brilliant tools to create drum kits and are a delight to use once you understand how they work.

NFX delivers yet again another top notch tutorial in which I have learnt so much, keep it going and look forward to learning much more!
