Hey NFX. Thanks for updating the downloads section. I have a small problem. Someone already told me in the chat before that he had the same problem.
But i have been noticing it only since 3 days ago, or so.

My downloads say i only have 11 downloads today....3 days ago it was saying 10 downloads remaining. And i havent downloaded for some days. Sry if i missed something in the video. anyway im gonna watch it again, and see if it's something i'm missing. Apreciate your help and the site in general. One Love, and keep the good work.


Edit: I guess it got to do with the "Download control system" you are trying to implement. It's not that i needed more then 11 downloads per day and i am ungrateful for all what we already been given, as members. It's just i can't understand how it went from 40 some to 11. My karma is 3.4, right now, just for you to have a better judgement of what's up. But, once again, im grateful for the site in general and just wanted to understand it better. Cheers!

 

I am tweaking the base values as I watch the costs of storing and delievering the files (both of which cost Money). I posted something on here a while back showing my bills for July, it's safe to say the cost of running warbeats is easily over $300 a month.

You should be thanking the people that donate for VIP for being generous enough to keep the site free for everyone.

to recap:

The base download count per day is 2 for non VIP, 10 for Contributors (non pay VIPs) and 20 for VIP (paying) users.

Your download count is further affected by a formula that takes into account the following things:

• Approved Uploads
• Karma
• Forum Participation

I won't give out the details of the formula yet because they are still liable to change.

You can get a maximum of 10 bonus points. If you have less than the base number, chances are you have a problem in one of the areas listed.

This is geared to help maximize participation across all areas of the site and discourage leechers.

I Submitted a upload to get VIP access the day before the deadline do I still receive my benefits? I only have access to two downloads a day still!

I SUBMITTED A KIT AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THOSE OTHER FORMATS WERE INCLUDED IN WHAT I SUBMITTED BUT IT WASN'T A KIT WAR BEATS ALREADY HAD. I KNOW I DOWNLOADED HEAVY DRUMS THE SAME DAY I UPLOADED MY KIT SO IT MAY HAVE SAVED IN THE SAME FILE LOCATION.(THAT'S THE ONLY EXPLAINATION I CAN GIVE)
 
I AM DISAPPOINTED THAT THIS MISUNDERSTANDING DISQUALIFIED ME FOR THE VIP BENEFITS. I DO APOLOGIZE IF YOU SAW IT AS IF I WAS RESUBMITTING  A KIT FROM THE WAR BEATS SITE. THE SAMPLES I SUBMITTED WERE BUSTA RHYMES STYLE AND I NOTICED MY SUBMISSION HAD A SMILEY FACE ON THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON AND THAT IT HAS REACHED 61 DOWNLOADS IN THE SHORT TIME IT HAS BEEN THERE. Just wondering, I have 0.3 karma, and I've been checking the downloads daily for 3 days to download things, because my friend, Kamugh, says that he has 0.2 karma, and all he did was give beat feedback, and he can download 2 downloads a day, yet I'm not able to download any, and I never have been, every time I go to the downloads page it says, "You have no more downloads for today.  Come back again tomorrow."

why do i have 1 download per day i thought i get 5 per plz help me.!!!!asap

i have no skill to critize i can just make good beats, its not fair that part of the formula is forum

it would be nice if there was a frooty loops made easy sample tutorial for the public that have not yet decided to get the vip yet
