I noticed there is one group in the list. How do we start a new group or who do we speak to to set up a new group? I would like to see an R&B Group or say SAMPLING Group here so everyone who produces material within that genre' can mix and mingle easier. Is that a possibility?

ATM, I think only NFX can create new groups. Not sure if he is planning on making the feature public and if so when that might happen.

But the group brings nothing special to the table, we already have sampling forums for samplers to hang in, which is basicly the same as creating a group for it.

I suppose it could be viewed as such. The Forums however are somewhat loose and haphazard. There is no real way to identify a specific user as anything. Plus with a specified group there is more clarity. Id like to know who are all R&B producers/composers or rock composers without relying on a forum to identify them; Just because a person emters a forum doesn't mean they are of that forum genre'.... BUT, I know it could be more work for NFX and may even be costly. Then he'd have to worry about how to manage the groups opened by random users... unless he simply opened specified groups himself.
