Hi, me again (I know I need to get a life). It seems to me that I get a lot of questions about Sony Acid. Maybee a Sony Acid Talk section would be in order. It's a really useful inexpensive tool that works well with FL and I think it might be easier to get info to people if it was in one place.

Also, is it o.k. if I record some acidized loops of my guitar and bass playing to upload? I'd be kinda interested to hear what some of the guys could do with it. Maybee I could learn how to put my playing in a beat better (lol).

Theres not enough demand for a specific Sony Acid talk section, but I do think theres a need for other DAWs section to go with the FLStudio talk and Reason talk section.
Think alot of people here are now branching into logic, pro tools, cubase etc. so it'd be nice for a place for these topics to go

Building off of what 2nd Man said I think there should be the FLStudio section and then an "Other DAW" section for every other DAW program question. Just combine the current Reason one into the new DAW Talk .

So basically we could just have the FLStudio Talk then below it there we be the new:

DAW Talk

"Discussion about all other DAW programs, excluding FLStudio" or something like that lol.

basicly I'm not against it, but (always a but innit). It kind of steers away from what this site is all about. So it is really up to what NFX's vision for the site is. Keep it strictly FL tutorials and be great at it or expand to others.

Yeah, I can understand that viewpoint... I just thought cause people already got questions scattered all over the place it might be nice to have a place to put it.  Not so much that there would be vids or tuts or something.

Since FL uses acidized files as well as Rewire I thought it kind of "goes together".  If anything, I think it would kind of keep the FL aspect of the site "cleaner" cause people could put their questions someplace so it doesn't get scattered all over the place.

Like, I see Music Theory type questions scattered all over the place and then a moderator has to move it someplace (let's say, sound design).  I just think it would save mods from moving a lot of stuff.  But I agree it might get legs of it's own and dilute the FL specific nature of the site that makes it such a great resource.

Point well taken.

I'll make an "Other DAWs" section. We'll see over time what other DAWs generate enough interest.
