I think most if not all the issues with the profile, avatar uploads , etc. are fixed.

To change your settings, click on "My Profile" or "My Settings" to get into your control panel.

Yeah i didnt see (i didnt look tho) my profile settings and all that... I just click on my nick in uper right corner and was confused why i cant change my sig there...lol
Tho we can manage profile from there so it would be good (in future) to have other settings there also...

i still cant upload my avatar... check my sig for what i try to do but fail

the pic i want as my avatar is saved as a photo if you wanna check it out and maybe do something for me...

Try changing your sig going to "My Profile" > "Edit Profile" Change your profile picture on the bottum of the page.. it worked for me.

There are still some quirks in the system.

Like someone already mentioned, uploading a avatar from "My Settings" panel does not work. You will have to do the change my profile picture from "My Profile" tab.

Also the site automatically converts uploaded images to PNG, which imho sucks. A web based conversion is not all that great and when using pixel perfect images they get distorted in the conversion. Also it killed my animated hamster ninja Gif.

I've enabled a feature to link to an offsite pic. That may let you link to GIF, JPG. Let me know. Also, I think if the pic is within the 80x80 dimensions it will not re-encode it.

Thanks for this thread.. Finally got my avatar back. Been struggling with that ish for a while now.

Another thing. Now a days when I go to a sub forum or whatever.. It only shows 10 threads on 1 page. Pretty annoying. Is there any way to change that?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the site seems to use 75x75 not 80x80px.

Again go to "My Settings" On the newly loaded page above the "About me" part is another "My Settings" click on that also.. On the new page scroll all the way down and look for the option "Items per page". Set that one to 100. Voila you can now see 100 topics on 1 page. It will affects the posts in a topic too mind you..

You gotta use oldskool plain html-code for that one. If you don't know the code anymore look on Echo Echo.com.
