| HOW TO OPEN ".RAR" FILES (HOW TO OPEN SAMPLES FROM WARBEATS.COM) Ok i'm writing this for the people who download samples off of Warbeats but cant seem to open/or use them. Let me begin with giving yall some background on what a .rar file is. RAR files are compressed data (in this case "samples"). What an RAR file does is brings in an X number of files and compresses it into a smaller one file. In other words say if you have some files which all together is 600mb if u put it into a RAR file it will be compressed to 500mb (something like that, but it will smaller than the original). How do i open these??? Well its very simple, all you have to do is download a extractor that will open up the RAR file so you get to the file/s within it (in this case your samples). What i use and recommend is this software, WinRAR.
(use this link if the hyperlink doesnt work, http://www.win-rar.com/) Now that you have an exstractor open the file that you want to open and exstract it into a folder of your choice. ps. there are alot of other programs that exstract RAR files but i like WinRAR the best.
