I think it can be done in Audition without messing with the tempo, I'm sure it can be done in FL though. Just by using the wheel that says "pitch" at the top of the box on any channel you select.

Maybe in Fl the chorus for vocals is not convincing..you might  have to mess around with to get what you want... i suggest you to look for externs VSt ...or if you have audition 2  just load up your material and use their chorus effect..its insane..my favorite presets is "quartet"....
peace..
if you know the fastest way to learn to play th keys...hit me up...

you can do it in FLStudio just by using the fruity slicer. you load the sample in and use the "PS" slider to change the pitch and the "TS" slider to stretch teh sample to fit match the bpm

the fruity chorus is good but you have to tweak it a lil depending on what exactly what you want with it. i just time stretch but if it gets too messy i'll water it down with the chorus

you should probably try playing around with the track in autotune seems like the easiest simplest way

once you get it pitched up in the slicer export it as a pattern,

try postin it up in the wave traveller, you can pitch it up real good in that, even add a scratch to it...

i see alot of ppl asking this question in different forums, heres a way i like to do it in adobe audition...got to>effects>time/pitch>pitch bender,in the range section click on semitones, type in 6 and now click on flat and lift the line up to the top,for quality select perfect...the trick is to find a sample with a slow tempo so once u pitch it up u get a tempo of 80-100,so theres no need to mess around with the bpm,if u change the pitch and then try change the tempo as well or vise versa,it wont sound the best.

give it a try let me know what u think

put the vocals into to the playlist....then shrink it so that its smaller...listen to it and try to get the tone that you want...then detect the tempo of your pitched vocals...throw a beat on it...
I have never tried this but i think it should work.
