Check out the mixing/mastering forum and the tutorials for it.. That should help you a lot... NFX has this one vid specifically on cleaning up vocals. That should help you a lot

You can just tell by the way the drums sound that you have clipping.
Not very well mixed for one thing.

yeah you got a lot of clipping you dont have any room left for the vocal, so your not ever going to get it crisp. You need to remix the track and notch out a place for the vocal to sit.

and for 'crispiness' there is a plugin i use, voxengo voxformer, it's like a master for my vocals, always
(nice beat the rap is pretty good too)
