So I've been listening to this album non-stop since Wednesday morning.  The lyrics are just ridiculous and I think Clipse is doing a lot to repair the perception that southerners aren't lyrical (VA is South, yes?).  What's most intriguing about this album as a production-minded guy is that all, and I mean ALL of the beats are spacey, futuristic, or generally unorthodox.  Typically the neptunes track on an album is a change of pace and it goes right back to more conventional stuff, but this album is pretty consistently wierd (not necessarily bad) with its beats.  Thoughts about the album?

I was being sarcastic, Jooney.  To be honest with you, I haven't even heard the cd (don't care 2), but a friend of mine's has.  He told me that the cd is garbage though.

The first time I heard hello new world and ain't cha I hated 'em both...now they're my favorite tracks on the album.  Give it a second chance if you didn't like it the first time

to tell you thetruth... VA is considered to be a northern state to most hip hop heads...especially those NYC purist types...because one...most NY drug dealers set up shop in VA so hard that that lyricism was like seriously ingrained in their skill...plus alot of dudes from NYC including myself have family from VA..or North Carolina is the second place where dudes are from

VA is the spot....one
