| when a producer used a sample on a beat this r the most common style he or her uses
1 Heatmakerz style
This niggaz didn't make this style up that just popularized it this style consist of gritty hihats a pitched up sample similar 2 kanye's beat but their feeling with the cymbal crashes ex.Who am i
2 Kanye west style
Kanye sample beats are somewhat similar 2 the heatmakerz but are more commercial oriented and he doesn't use cymbals like the heatmakerz ex. Poppin tags
3 Southern style
This style is everywhere in hiphop This style is probably the simplest and easiest 2 pull off ,The beat is original all they do is take an acapella and take a hotline out of the song ex. Lil keke chunk up the deuce
4 Dj premier style
Premier is the master or this style..in his hey day when most samples where looped
he wented another road and chop his samples if u think I'm bullishin listen 2 kenny lattimore (ish I forget the name of the song But premier uses it for jigga's one in a million)
5 9th wonder style
he takes the drums from the sample then chopped it up with a thick bassline similar 2 J dilla rip me

| did u know that marly marl was one of the pionners of sampling and all them people that u named got their style from listining to the early niggas. marley marl was 1 of the first to use james brown samples and sample drums and re-arrange dem to his own pattern, and also premo used ta loop samples and he still does if u didnt know that. 9th wonder got his style mostly from Premo & RZA, and a couple others (His sampling and chopping style from Premo & His Wails and vocal chopping style from rza)
it would take me forever to drop som science on ppl that aren't well informed on hip hop som ima just leave it at this
and that lattimore song is called let me go | | | No embedded objects please.

9th Samples like most the rest of us do. He records his vinyl inot cool edit pro and chops it up into there. then he dumps his samples into FLStudio and from there, the magic happens.

LOL....its OK Suspect, I sensed an angry undertone for a minute. Dont let these young cats get to you mane... Its alright Dawg.
But!!!... what Suspect said is absolutely correct. The only one that I would consider somewhat a Pionner, on that list nassau made, is Premo... And not to mention the fact that Grandmaster flash wasnt even mentioned... I mean c'mon.

| The Heatmakerz doesn't have a creative bone in their bodies. The beats are still hot though. Kanye West got his style from The RZA. You are wrong about one thing. Heatmakerz anf Kanye's style are similiar but completely different. In alot of Kanye's productions he will take a part from the beginning of the song and combine it a chop form the middle. Listen to Jay-Z This Can't Be Life, and Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes I Miss You.(I think thats the name of the original song.) | | | I understand that the envy is part of the game but you and I we are not the same | |
