| He's doing alright round here. He's not my favourite but he's not half bad. Though it's interesting the way you say no autotune like it's something special. | |

| I guess with solo singers but if you listen to bands or just older music it never comes up. | |

| no it never comes up, but that doesnt mean they are not using it, in fact ive heard that autotune or some form of it is used on every commercial track, but the difference is they are not using the T-Pain effect. They are using it as it was designed for, to make the vocals perfect! | | | |

| Yeah, if it's done right you can't really tell... just about everything has "note nudge-ing" on it nowadays. | | | |

| i dont think theres any audio engineer out there right now that doesnt use autotune, melodyne or any similar program.. its just the way of the buisness nowadays. even without the T Pain effect i still think they overdo it sometimes.. songs sound better without ''perfect'' vocals if you ask me. | | | **Hope for the best, Prepare for the worst.** | |

Somehow I don't think that has been autotuned. | |

| ok I concede you can take rock out of that category lol, I love blink 182 but this was not one of their best, although I still wouldn't swear autotune wasn't used, obviously if it was it was used very very sparingly | | | |

| Haha, what I love about it is the underproccessed sound, something nice about that. But yeh you expect everyone to be autotuned, why listen to music that isn't at it's best (well except for the sole reason of hearing it because it isn't at it's best (as stated above)) | |

| yeah thats a very good point. Ive noticed a lot of movies lately are using soundtracks with some terrible singers that I would never listen to, but its obvious that they chose them intentionally for some kind of feeling. The movies Im referring to are the ones Im forced to watch with my wife called Boy Meets Girl Sappy OMG time to cry Love Stories lol | | | |
