I listened to your track. I dig what you're trying to do man. Hopefully you'll pull it off. By the way I recognise that orgams sample! You got it in that DJ Tools Sample set didn't you? I dig that set, I've used it a hell of a lot! What I love about the orgasm is that they wouldn't be able to censure it or label the album with a Parental Advisory sticker! You can censure "funk" and "bitch", but not an orgasm! The Christian right would be going beserk, calling it the devil's music! lol.

by arrangement I mean the standard: Intro, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus... yadda yadda yadda... maybe that's format instead of arrangement?

Just to let you know, what you mean is structure. Arrangements would be how you go from a C-Minor to a C-Major, for instance.

By the way I thought your track was cool, but imo the arrangements didn't match the mood that orgasm gave the track. Like the flute-sounding thing was chilled, but the woman was going crazy. Maybe you could try to emphasise the intensity of the orgasm with the arrangemnts. Just my opinion

I'll try and think of some music that might inspire you. At the moment I'm thinking of Dubstep, or Drum & Bass, but I'll try and think of some artists in particular to recommend. I'll get back to you later!

Vada, I took a couple of electronic music courses in college where you study musique concrete and all that and the basic concept is not new but there isn't a whole lot of people doing it in hip hop other than the guys mentioned. I think it's just a matter of finding your audience, people who are into art music are few but loyal (from what I understand).

True, I suppose the concept is not new BUT I propose to take it to that '"UDA Level! "... Sampling is sooooo unlimiting and media just keeps giving and giving... man, the sounds in nature alone that we MISS in recordings/music is staggering. I appreciate kids who can find rhythms in anything: tin cans, walls, buckets, their foot steps... you name it. The ambient sounds are great... background noises... we take all that for granted and I am going to use all of that in my music as well as voices, and dramas. Not to mention beat changes and all behind a free flowing non-scripted format which leaves me free to change things as I see fit. It may be difficult for spantaneous dancing... but it will be GREAT for listening and meditation.

@ Fisha- I am my audience though. I write for me. Honestly NOTHING and I do mean NOTHING that I put on the internet would I EVER try to mass produce on a CD as commercial. Everything you hear is an EXERCISE to better myself. This is all school work stuff for me. I play, I experiment and I test online. If you like it cool... If not cool. I try things out here to see if I want to use them in a real way or if they work.

hmmm i dont think putting your real work online is that retarded... i mean your essentially doing the same thing when you sell your cd's... but then again you stated that you will never mass produce something on a cd as commercial. i do think that you will mass produce however, whenever you think your at a level to actually sell your music for people to enjoy. thats unless your just doing it just to do it for yourself... cuz if you were going to do it for yourself and other people... your going to need other people to hear it. and how do you get other people to hear it? online...mass produce cds... etc.

Well as much as I love my music I would feel unforfilled (why do I have no idea how to spell that?) if other people didn't love it too. And while I don't write it with the idea of ever becoming a commercial success that's always the dream. I'm not sure about you but that's how I feel
