haha ok you caught me... yea ive only heard his stuff on the radio.... but even if his own songs dont sound the same ... they definitley sound the same as other peoples songs.... "you spin my head right round" was made a long time ago.... i also heard him on a song that sounded like "im blue" or whatever its called...... does this dude just take old hits and remake them?..... he just doesnt seem like a very creative dude from what ive heard from him.... sounds like he's just making music to make money, which i got no problem with at all.... i'd just rather listen to people with more originality

I don't listen to radio
I don't watch mtv appart from my uncredible birthday and the thing when they have two girls at the same type (no I'm kidding lol, I'm so much into music that I don't even watch T.V no more lol, always working)

I don't like the latest Jay-Z stuff at all (the one with Rihanna and Kanye)

I think hiphop needs to go back to where it was until year 2001... it was the good time...

I find it's funny for me to say that because I used to consider myself a mainstream head... but now, what was mainstream is oldschool T_T
Yeah, I'm tired of hiphop and I'm more into rnb now... the only thing that is kinda surviving a lil bit... That's plenty of "Eyez" huh? ^^ SHould have used the 3rd person Base is tired of actual hiphop Base is tired especially of the current way of rapping or what is called rapping Base is afraid that rap and hiphop might be dying Base is not very happy that some real rappers such as Busta Rhymes and Jay-Z be degrading themselves ^^
U goin Daedulus style on the 3rd person haha...im pretty much doin the same thing as B.A.S.E. tho...i don't watch t.v. anymore...i have cable n don't even watch o.0...i watch some anime sometimes but thats on the internet n thats about it. But gyea i been into music more and rnb a lot lately too...hip hop is still coo with me but only underground tho(Blue Scholars, The Grouch type of music), but i Flo Rida is overplayed on the radio, for Flo Rida its mainly club music, good thing i dun listen to the radio much anymore....i'm always listenin to jus beats these days...whether they're mine or some1 else's....but the thing i will say on here after reading every1's responses is that don't judge a book by its cover n it seems here that the radio is a cover...so gyea its overplayed but if ur sick of it jus put in a cd or somethin else.

All his songs which we are forced to listen to sound the same. Now that's not uncommon with artists but for god sake if the first one wasn't good and they all sound the same as that then it becomes a problem.

I think it has something to do with which songs are more radio friendly than others. The songs that they're able to put on the radio usually get more popular because they're on the radio and, being in the age of itunes, not everyone buys entire albums anymore. People are more inclined to buy that one song from the album they heard on the radio even if the rest of the songs on that album make the radio friendly one look like trash.

^^^so sad but true...o ya on B.A.S.E.'s myspace there's a little video of Busta Rhymes givin his view of the music bizz...at one point he says that ringtones cost 3.99 for only a piece of a song whereas an entire song these days, on itunes is .99...which is true, very sadly...like T_T sad.

Lol I always thought about that. Thankfully, I don't have to buy any ringtones. I can just load anything I want onto my micro sd card.

Flo Rida has got his thing going.. Whether you hate it or not well thats up to you. But this cat is making money, and making alot of fans whilst doing it. If you listen to his stuff that isnt overkilled on the radio, You will actually see he can be quite good. Im just not a big fan of his mainstream ish that he does all in triplets.. If you know what I'm talking about, his flow is always in triplets over the beat.
