Im from aus.. i hate the fact that aus hip hop and rnb dont get played on the radio or in clubs or tv.. I also hate the fact that aussie hiphop and rnb is still stuck on the underground scene we need more commercial shiet here.. thats where i come in lol

Sunshine Coast mate. Just north of Brissy. How about you?
Yeh the accents are exagerated but the same thing happens if you listen to like British Indie music. It just gives it some character.

I didn't know that much aussie hip-hop till I listened to Mystro's album "Diggi Down Unda". He's a well respected UK MC, and the album was a project of collaborations with Aussie MC's and producers. It's truly a classic LP. The Aussie's rip the mic. The production is top notch. Even the female MC's have some heavy rhymes. There aren't enough female MC's yet, but Maya Jupiter really puts out a some quality verses. I recommend the album to anyone. The only downside are the excesive skits, but other than that, a great album and a great introduction to the world of aussie hip-hop to those who aren't familiar with it!
