there is no max potential to anything that can be used to create music.
you can make the best track in the world by using a thong and a slice of cheese
you can also make the worst kind of music using up to date music workstations (example : soulja boy)

That's kinda like asking "Show me the best band in the world, I want to see the max potential of music".

I good blacksmith doesn't blame the tools he using.

And for todays power tip: Go check out some of 9nth Wonders work.

What he's trying to say Machine, it's not the tools you work *with* that determine how hot your beat will be.. i.e cubase ain't better than FL and FL and better than reason.. It's all what you make of it.. Your beat can only beome as hot as you can make it, and the method you use to do it has no relationship with the outcome of your beat regarding to *hottness* ... Besides professionals in the bizz are using FL too, so you know what the *maximum potential* is... Need I say more...?

Will anyone shoot me if I mention basshunter?

Naa while you can potentially make just as good music on any program, the program that you use will influence the style of music. You tend to gravitate towards making music that is 'less complicated' to make using which ever program that you are using. Say in a program that uses a pattern sequencer you are more likely to produce music that is based on repeated patterns. If you were to use a notation program like sibelius (I don't recommend using this for anything in the realms of pop music) you are much more likely to write a song which stays in key much more.

Check the album of Mase.. "Welcome Back" is the title I believe. That album has been produced with FL for the most part, if not all of it..

Yeh lol, I saw that bottom one before. Just an interesting point apparently basshunter has/had torettes. I think it would be great if halfway through a song he just broke out into a fit of swearing.

if there is such a thing as a ''max potential'' to hip hop on FL.. that would be it
