Polow tends to be on the forefront when introducing new styles of drums these days. Fort Minor and Los da Mystro got they're own styles which they do amazingly as well.

Questlove. Well, he's not really a music producer, but you can't argue his live drums are unmatchable.

Gotta have the Usual suspects I'm afraid Pete Rock and Premo. Not the most original of choices but if it ain't got that swing then it don't do a thing .Add to that K-Def for the 90's flavour , Mixmaster mike for some of the nasty drums on the wavetwisters album by Qbert ,and a vote for uk producer Skitz.

Wait, did you just say Pete Rock and Primo aren't original?

No I don't mean they're not original as producers, I mean as a vote for the best drums. I would of thought they were the first ones people would think of.

Premo always had the best drum tracks when he was doing ish for a gangstarr record.

Gotta love "who got gunz" or "rite where you stand"...
