no, no here is a missconception in my opinion. I'm not hating on Soulja Boy or Hurricane Chris or any newcomer. They are trying to do their thang. Music is entertainment not poetry..the lyrics matter less it's all about the sound. Actually, Soulja Boy revolutioned hip-hop by bringin in the snap dances. Hip-hop should always get a fresh breath, people to come and bring something new in it.
Think at the 'crank dat' beat structure..Who would had usen Jamaican Steeldrums with Orchestral Hits till now? Something new and catchy is always welcomed.
