^ For what it's worth.. A friend of mine told me Tech was interviewed a while ago about the stories in his tracks and how much of that was true, and he told the media that it wasn't... so yeah...

I just admire the way Tech describes his stories creatively thru his lyrical abilities. He's def in my top 10.

That is one hell of a mainstream attitude to take. The focus of rap is on the lyrics, he could have at least used multies, then I would be able to listen, but most of it was single syllable rhymes. If rhyme schemes and other aspects of rap lyrics didn't matter, soulja boy would be good.

the rhyme skeem isnt that simple,i thought it was ill,i liked the beat too the keys were sick,an im. tech. seems to do it for fun an the release not the money

I think I heard 5 in rhymes in the whole song... quote a bar or two that you think show an ill rhyme scheme from the song. Don't get me wrong, I like tech, but I just wish he would up his lyrics. He can do it, I've heard him use really dope rhymescheemes and punchlines, and although I don't want him to start doing punchline rap it shows that he can be dope if he wants to.

hmmm, i still dont get your argument, this song is great, there is a huge twist in the end and he is telling a hell of a story, how is that not a great ryhme scheme in itself, the things he talks about and the way he brings you into his story is a great ryhme scheme, everyone doesnt have to use double entendres to have a great ryhme scheme.... my statement wasnt mainstream either.... i was just stating that without a complicated ryhmescheme this song is still one of the best......

You're thinking Technical = Dope. But IT'S NOT!

A fake rapper can be technical, still, being technical won't make him real, good, dope, etc.
Don't forget music man. I'm not yelling at you like you did something really bad, I'm just trying to remind you the essence of music.
It's good to be technical, and I love technical rappers, but ONLY if they still got the essence of music, of hip-hop in them.
Rapping about planets isn't making anyone justice, you know?

The song is really good, really deep. I love the last part.
