One of the first records i learned to sing (says my mom) was "i want you back" by the Jackson 5. My mom used to put a mark on the record label and i knew that, that was the side to put on my little phonograph. Michael Jackson has been in my life since I was born. He has inspired me to sing, dance, and make great music. I had never met the man or ever saw him in concert but still I felt as though I knew him. He has been in my favorite artist list since... forever.

I composed a compilation for Michael about 3 weeks ago. Today it is #5 on the Composition charts here at Dub B. I am so thankful for Michael Jackson and his pioneering. He will always be missed.. and will forever be loved! So, to show my respects to Michael Jackson I am placing the compilation track here... Hopefully those who loved Michael as I have/do will appreciate the work, time, and effort that not just I put into it,... but for all that made my compilation of MJ possible... which was really all of his talent and love for music.

i thank this dude for everything man, he basically sacrificed his whole life to entertain us, from the age of maybe 7 or 8 he's had the spotlight on him he deserves a rest.

and my 3 favorite Michael joints are "Beat It" "P.Y.T." and "Smooth Criminal" dammit who am i kidding you can't juts list three MJ tracks oh well the man will be missed

REALITY IS... WITHOUT MJ the entire focus on music would be totally different. This man is not like "Clyde Superstein" of the late 70's (see must of you are like... who the hell is Clyde Superstein?) and that's the point. MJ was the best!!! The most famous, the most renowned, The king! If there had been no MJ.. there would be an entire change of music culture. I mean this man affected the WORLD!!! How can you not give Him props??? Usher, Chris Brown, Neo, The Dream, countless others would be someone totally different!

^ i agree 100%. MJ did what very few if any could do. as a 7yr old, he was the leader of the Jackson 5 cause he was the best. he wasnt even the oldest in the group but he was the BEST. He did what few if any could do, he "matured" from that to the biggest influence on the way singers sing, dance, AND the way they made VIDEOS. "VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR". u look at his older stuff, from off the wall, like rock with you. all the video had was MJ in a shiny suit, and a couple strobe lights. thats how videos were back then, cheep and kinda cheesy.. . Then Thriller and all his other classic videos came out and told stories in themselves. now videos are like that. ...He changed the game not only with his music, dance mooves, and voice. which most artists STILL copy. ..He influenced much more then we think with his creativity
