| Yeah another Em thread, so what, he deserves another.
Anyways, favourite song/s and why, GO!
Stan.
Why? The collaboratin with Dido - nobody had heard of her at the time so Eminem put her on the map. Shes also one of those artists most hiphop/rap artists would collab with. The song subject was cool too, not sure if it was based on a true story but it still gives you goosebumps. The format of the song is perfect too. An obsessed fan becomes more angered over the course of the track to the point where he does something stupid because he didn't get a response and finishes off with Em replying and saying sorry and trying to help him get better, and the finisher is heavy.
I was one of those 'kinda-fans' with Eminems other work, but once I heard that track it blew my mind, still does to this day. | | | The Edge - There's no honest way to explain. Because the only people who know where it is, are the one's who have gone over. Hunter S. Thompson "Dr Gonzo".

Ill 2nd that one. That's the song that first made me an Em fan. So much raw energy in Em's verses. Plus Nate Dogg's hook on that is crazy.

| stan is a well written song but not one of my favorites because its mroe like soft rap or r&b or somethin i dunno to smoothe. Lyrics are hella good though. listen to something eminem is on xanax and drunk on when hes funkin screamin and youll see what ems like at his best like amityville
at 2:13 in the track he starts his loose slurrin screamin voice , ish talkin with power lol benzino diss was also a clear one with emotionsa nd drugs the performance anyway
in 2001 the up in smoke tour with dre he had to pace hisself from screamin because he was losing his voice getting to into it. you can see that on the dvd he sings till he turns blue in the face and losin his voice in marshall matthers
