| Ok.... I have to admit that i have never been the biggest fan of bow wow for the simple fact that I feel he has never really had an orginal bone in his rapping persona... Before I get the, "you hatin cuz of this or that", let me be the first to say that Bow Wow has some bangers that I like.... But after listening to his latest album, im kinda wondering who the hell he is trying to be or become. New jack city II is a decent album. Everyone knows Bow's emmo, and thats the ladies. Its 11 tracks on the album and bout 8 or 9 are on the women topics. The thing I finally realize about him is that he's a dick rider... meaning that whatever or whoevers hot at the time thats who you will find on his albums.... circa Missy Elliot's last 3 or 4 albums. That doesnt deminish the quality product that he put out cuz there are alot of good radio/ ridin songs on it. The thing that deminishes him is his lack of lyrics, which is brought me to my point. On about 8 of the 11 songs, I can hear the following rappers styles: 1) T.I. 2) Lil Wayne 3) Drake 4) T-Pain ( Yes bow wow used the autotune) 5) Jermaine Dupri Now my problem wit this is he has TOO MANY GHOST WRITERS!!!!!!!!!!! Get this man some skill please!!! These are the tracks I feel present what I mean the best: -Like this f/ Dondria & Johnta Austin -Sunshine -Pole in my basement -You can get it all Let me know if you agree or disagree | | | |

| thats like requiring rappers to make their own beats....
??? Bow Wow is a rapper (at least, so he claims). How is asking a rapper to write his own lyrics anything like asking rappers to make their own beats? Besides, there are plenty of rappers that produce their own ish. MF Doom, Pete Rock flows every now and then, Madlib, J Dilla (granted, not a great MC, but still did his thing), Grand Puba produced a number of his tracks, Q-Tip, not to mention Kanye West. The list goes on and on... | | | |
