I'm not sure what you mean. Are you referring to frequencies? If so then you'll want to look at some type of EQ or filter. What is it you're trying to accomplish?

to boost high end, add gain and treble i think, for low end bass. i forget what db's represent these.

If you look at the drum mixing tutorial, it shows a method or two for using parametric EQ.
