You def wanna upgrade to fl6. Or atleast FL5. And i mnot shure buth xxl has mor plugs, but you dont nned them 4 producing. Im not sure.

you should also look for firxire plug in interfaces like the presonus ones, they are supposed to faster and better quality.

Have u ever seen good usb burners? good usb hard drives? well i havent, go with firewire, youll be happier. N dont waste your money, id say 200 bucks on a audiphile firewire is money wasted, just get the presonus firebox, its good.

if you just want to record vocals i would get the inspire.

will actually if u wana get a separate midi controller like a usb one, u can just get the inspire anyways, firebox just has the added option of midi i think, but if you have a usb controller u can jut get the inspire.
