what are some of the most used drum patters for genre
ok say for hip hop-   [kick-kick-snare-kick-kick-snare]i would like people to break them down. like crunk-club-slowrap-fast rap-r&b-reggae[raggaeton] thank you in advance.

ps. the example is using a 1 bar sequence.Please post u guys in 2 bar sequences or more.

i always start of with the basic

1- kick
5- snare
9- kick
13- snare

then i just play around with em ^^ for a regular hiphop beat that is

i usually start with:

1-kick
2-hat
3-snare
3-kick
4-hat

i dont have fl open currently so i apologize for the real basic nubering.

if you post patterns, you should post them in a way that shows 8 or 16 steps like this:

K-K-S---

because just saying kick kick snare could actually be:

K-K-S--- or KK--S--- or K--KS---

You could also use lowercase to indicate a lighter hit of that instrument for example:

KsK-S---

right now the song I have open in FL is this:

K-K-S--kK-K-Sk--
