I was going to drop mad bills for the KRK's, but reading this forum I think i might go for the Studiophile AV's.

I just really don't want my speakers to go, static, or fuzz. It happened to my last speakers which I loved, but it works out for the best because I'm upgrading to monitors now.

Ok here's something to throw out there

What if you bought one of those expensive speakers that have linear reference +/-3, 50hz-20khz? for $1400 a pair vs. some monitors that are $250 a pair. Why would monitors be better? What's the difference between super expensive speakers that claim fine linearity vs monitors? There must be other differences besides linearity and bipolar powering right. I reckon some speakers can beat some monitors, but I'd like to hear more from you guys.
